Children
We
want church to be a place of fun, friendship and learning for our
children. Our Toddler Group meets every Tuesday in term time from
10.30am, while our Saturday 5pm and Sunday 10.15am Services are
both child-friendly and offer teaching programs from Kindy through
to junior secondary. A creche/crying room is available at all our
services.
Youth
PULSE
youth ministry, for secondary students, operates on Friday evenings
in term time from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. A mid-week Bible study aims to
cater for senior secondary students and young adults, as do our
Saturday 5pm and Sunday 6.30pm Services.
Women
We
oversee a variety of outreach and nurture events on a periodical
basis, including coffee & dessert nights, Country Craft group,
Homemakers, Mother's Union, and a weekend and Katoomba Women's
Convention.
Men
We
hold an outreach event each year as well as encouraging attendance
at Katoomba Men's Convention. We also share a breakfast at 7am on
the second Saturday of every month to encourage men in their
families and places of work.
Seniors
On
the first Wednesday of the month, we gather for a friendly &
brief Communion service followed by lunch ($6), while a pastoral
visiting team works at caring for the ill or housebound on a
regular basis.
Missions
St
Peter's has always taken missionary support seriously, and a group
meets on a monthly basis to pray for those associated with St
Peter's. The Missionary Prayer Fellowship also co-ordinates visits
for those returning from the field, and aims to keep our
congregations informed and prayerful.
Small
Groups
A
number of groups meet regularly to care for another, study the
Scriptures and pray for one another. Groups are often mixed but
some cater specifically for men and for women and
families.
Getting
Involved
